The USFS office out of Norwood continues to clear the trails in our region. Here is the latest update of where they have been and where they are headed next. If you would like to join the Forest Service for any trail work days, please let us know and we will put you in touch with the correct people!
This week the Norwood Trail Crew Tentatively plans to work:
Sneffels Highline: clear logs 8/17
Red Canyon: clear logs 8/18
Powerline: clear logs 8/18

Liberty Bell: clear from Tomboy road to tree line 8/2
Rim Trail: clear 8/4
Alder Creek: entire trail clear 7/27
Lone Cone Trail: clear from Woodslake through Wilderness 7/19
Wasatch and Wasatch Connection: snow is clear, brush cleared 7/21
Morningstar: clear from Wilson mesa to Lizard head Trail, Bilk Creek crossing can be difficult 7/28
Alder Creek: clear until Wilderness boundary on SW side 7/13
Eider Creek: clear 7/5; still lots of overgrowth
Wasatch: clear from Bear Creek to Wasatch Connection 7/6; still lots of overgrowth
Wasatch Connection: clear of trees, still snow patches that are difficult to pass, 7/6; still lots of overgrowth
Deep Creek: cleared from SR637 (water treatment plant) to SR638 on 6/2
Galloping Goose: cleared 5/26
Hope Lake: cleared 6/26
Jud Wiebe: cleared 6/24
Lizard Head: cleared until Wilderness boundary 6/14
Sunshine: cleared from highway 145 to Ilium rd 6/3
Thunder Trails: cleared
Woods Lake: cleared 6/8
Woods Lake Shoreline: cleared 6/7
